Factory Scheduling
CargoTRAC/HOMEBase integrates a component for Factory Scheduling. This feature enables the scheduling of production jobs based on Attributes defined in the scheduling component. Using Excel formula boolean logic, rules are defined matching width, length, model type and other user defined model attributes to assign an order to specific plant number, line number and date scheduled. Each production plant and line number has rules assigned specifying max number of specific product types that can be built in a week, as well as limits to width and length; if applicable.
When the Scheduler process is run, a production calendar will show the result. These results are shown by
Plant # and Line #. The results may be tweaked as necessary before the schedule is set.
